Hello to all our West Harbour School families and whanau
I hope this note finds you and your families safe in these challenging times.
As you are aware, we are unfortunately not yet able to welcome all our students and staff back to the school site. The continually evolving situation regarding COVID in the Auckland region has meant that Alert Level 3 conditions have been extended. Schools are not yet able to return to face-to-face teaching and learning as originally signalled. As such, we will restart with online teaching and learning on Monday October 18 until further notice.
As the Prime Minister has stressed, school is only available for the children of essential workers where no suitable care arrangements are possible. Therefore there will only be a skeleton staff onsite.
Our school’s senior leadership team is in close contact with our staff and the Ministry of Education as we all navigate our way to the time when Auckland schools can re-open!
